Student voice and student choice is crucial to student success. But how can educators find authentic ways to place our learners at the center of daily instruction? In this practical hands-on working session, participants will have the opportunity to see how small shifts in pedagogical approach can help students start to see themselves as authors of their own education, resulting in dynamic, high energy classrooms where wonder and curiosity take center stage against a perpetual background of highly metacognitive instructional techniques.
