There is a disconnect between adolescent literacy practices in-school and out-of-school. This session will present an in-class digital literacy reading assignment that will aid educators with identifying students’ out-of-school literacy practices. The goal is to help teachers bridge students’ worlds with classroom practice and to better understand students’ preferred reading choices.
